The MIFA Speaker Tour with PROFESSOR STANLEY CATTS of the Australian Psychosis Research Network This public forum in Darwin hosted by Mental Health Carers NT during Schizophrenia Awareness Week 2007 will explore the theme Schizophrenia: the Search for Solutions. It will be a chance to learn the role Australian researchers are playing in fighting for better treatments and better answers. Issues will span the medical to the social. Stanley Catts is Professor of Hospital and Community Psychiatry, The University of Queensland, and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. Professor Catts is a clinical researcher who has contributed significantly to the understanding of the nature of the cognitive deficits associated with psychotic disorder.
